2020 was no doubt a difficult year for races, including ours. Even though we had to make the gut-wrenching decision to go virtual last year, we were still able to raise over $13,000 for Rise Up for Youth! We missed our runners, walkers and volunteers desperately!
This year we feel that with about 100 back up plans and contingencies for safety we can hold an in-person event. We'll be working closely throughout the year with the city, county, Carpenter Place, Timer Guys and our committee to make sure that we can bring you the best possible experience while still keeping everyone safe and healthy!
Be sure to watch your email and our Facebook page as well as this website for any pertinent information on Covid protocols as they change. We're hopeful that by fall our community will be back to some semblance of normal gatherings.
Until then: wash your hands, maintain a safe distance from people with cooties and do all you can to stay strong and healthy. Get some fresh air and some good training miles in. We want to see you at the starting line!
